Mark Costanzos
11 year career in public accounting and private equity includes deep experience
with high tech emerging enterprises, in addition to work within financial
services and manufacturing. Mr. Costanzos behind-the-scenes contributions
have included his work on Metrocalls secondary public offering and
UUNets sale to Williams Communications and, its subsequent sale
to MFS. Mark transitioned to private equity as a controller for MCTR,
a venture firm that launched a joint venture to develop cellular systems
in Russia and Central Asia. While at MCTR, Mark oversaw the development
of a western style reporting structure for the joint ventures three
systems that were introduced in Russia and Uzbekistan. The weekly reporting
that resulted, formed the basis for operational management of the joint
venture while providing investors in-depth quarterly assessments of their
investments. Mark joined Blue Water Capital in 1999 as the Controller
and two years later became an associate. Today, Mark plays an active role
in supporting Blue Waters portfolio investments, in finding and
evaluating new investments and framing due-diligence issues for the more
promising opportunities. Mark graduated from Montclair State University
with a BS in accounting.
